About Aurora

Aurora Consulting was founded in 1997 by managing consultant Griff Griffith, building on the
experience he gained during an extensive career in international business.
Griffs background is in strategic development, business planning, marketing,
corporate communications and general & financial management in the telecommunications
and electronic commerce fields. Aurora Consultings services are based
around these skills.
We believe that every
clients requirements are different. Aurora doesnt have a "one size fits
all" or "template" solution to sell. Instead, issues and problems are
addressed individually, to find the right solution that meets the client's particular
needs. Clients get a personal service from Aurora they wont find
that the consultant who sets up a project disappears once the scope is agreed and that a
less-experienced member of the team undertakes the work. Client satisfaction is
fundamental to the successful completion of our projects. Whether its a one-off
assignment or part of a long-term relationship, Aurora Consulting ensures that the client
comes first.
Aurora has a wide range of
clients. We provide services to Fortune 100 companies and one-man start-up
businesses. We have worked with clients in the USA, Northern Europe, the United
Kingdom, the Middle East and Hong Kong. Our recent projects include:
developing and reviewing business plans
for B2C and B2B electronic commerce services, Internet
incubators, and a 'bricks and mortar' recruitment agency;
customised research for one of the
biggest names in the global IT industry, and for a major international player in the
mobile telecommunications sector;
creating MBA course materials for a
leading distance learning provider;
due-diligence investigations for a
major Silicon Valley company;
providing general business and
management advice for start-up companies.
Our main operational
site is in London, England. We also have a presence in California, although it isn't
currently staffed full-time. Wherever your business is located, we can travel to
undertake an assignment for you.

Griff Griffith - Aurora Consulting's
founder
Griff Griffith's career in international business management has
spanned more than 30 years. He worked in the telecommunications industry with the Cable
& Wireless group for many years around the globe, with spells in Gibraltar, Yemen, the
Gambia, Mauritius, London and Hong Kong. He undertook a range of roles for C&W
initially on the technical side of the business as an engineer before moving into
marketing and business management.
In his last appointment with the
group, he worked on assignment to a major start-up e-commerce venture in Hong Kong from
1988 to 1997. Griff took on a succession of responsibilities including
marketing, business strategy, finance, corporate affairs before taking on his final roles as CEO, and COO.
Griff has been involved in electronic
commerce ventures since the mid-1980's. He has worked with Internet/e-commerce start-ups
in the USA, Europe, the Middle East and the Far East.
Griff has a Bachelor of
Science (Honours) degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Greenwich
University and a Masters in Business Administration from Brunel University. He is a
Chartered Engineer, a fellow of the Institution of Incorporated Engineers and a member of
the Institution of Electrical Engineers. Griff is also a member of the Chartered Institute
of Marketing, the Institute of Management and the International Association of Business
Communicators, and an associate member of the Institute of Directors.
