Aurora is not a public relations agency, nor is it an advertising agency.  But we do have expertise in corporate communications from the client's perspective.  We can help you in two major areas communications strategy and crisis communications and provide you with support across the full range of corporate communications issues, including presentations skills training.

Communications Strategy

Communicating with your various audiences customers, staff, shareholders and other stakeholders needs careful planning just as any other part of your business does.  You need to identify all the audiences and your communications objectives for each one.  You need to do this before briefing your PR and advertising agencies if you want to retain control over the communications process.

Aurora uses tried and tested methods to draw up short-term and long-term communications strategies.  These result in clear and unambiguous targets against which success can be measured.

Crisis Communications

Most businesses are faced, sooner or later, with a problem that can turn into a major public relations disaster if it isn't handled well.  Tylenol, Railtrack, Concorde, and the Intel Pentium chip are just a few issues that have hit the headlines over the past few years you can probably think of others.   The best companies plan for such eventualities so that if and when they happen, they already have a PR plan ready to counteract the impact of the problem.

Aurora works with its clients to develop crisis communications plans.  In addition, we can provide you with back-up services when the plan has to be put into action.
